A lot of talk about the bore size of convertibles as being the bore size for the 22 Magnum. Now, the Star Rugers, were sold only with the 22 LR cylinders. What was the bore size of the Star series? Thanks, Big Larry

I'm sure that Ruger used the same barrels for both the Star and the convertibles. After all, when Ruger started making the .22 Mag. they started using the larger bore size for both the .22 LR and the .22 Mag. guns.

I agree.

According to my phone call w/Ruger (several years ago), the Bisley Single-Six models also have the larger diameter bore, even though they are also sold as ".22LR-only."

Any lack of accuracy occurring during my shooting likely can't be blamed on the bore size, anyway… :)

So a Bisley Single Six with a magnum cylinder could safely shoot 22 mag?
