I went to the Fort Worth gun show today and found a NIB 5.5" Stainless SS Convertible. Got it from a private seller for $550 out the door. Got the wife convinced it was a good investment…. 😎

That was an excellent price! I love the Single-six and specially in stainless steel. I just don't see them that often anymore, everyone has the
Wrangler but no Single-sixes. I found mine about 6-7 years ago at a good price, it was a Super Single-six in my favorite barrel length, 4 5/8 inch but it is blued steel. Like I said, I prefer stainless but the blued steel looks nice also.

I have one exactly the same, just a hair older. It has been great right out of the box except for the .22LR chambers being just a tiny bit too tight to accept certain ammo brands without undue resistance. A little polishing took care of that. As far as I am concerned, EVERYBODY should own at least one Ruger Single Six!

Congrats, you scored on that one. 😉

I'm thinking that's about what I paid in 2013, $519 sticks in my head for some reason,

I have a stainless single six that's rode with me on lots of trapping and woods adventures. They're classic guns in my opinion.
