I recently found and purchased a stainless 9 1/2 inch KS9 single six Ruger .22 revolver. Does anyone know when the last year of production might have been for these. I have been unable to find this model with Liberty markings and it seems I was told once that 1974 was the end of this stainless model. This particular model I now own is from Nov 1974. Any ehlp on this would be appreciated. Thank you

Around 2400 KS9 (Star model) were produced ser# range 63-06766 to 63-08287 and 63-28059 to 63-30284.

Your gun has a Star stamped on the frame in front of the trigger guard correct? They were produced only one year 1975. (Rare)

There were only around 1500 KNR9's produced Ser# range 63-06507 to 63-08982 and 63-28981 to 63-303xx. (Very Rare)

Which gun do you have? Box End Label?

Hope this helps. All info from RENE.

Hi. Ruger records tell me that this was shipped Nov of 74. The one I pciked up is new in box. That could make it worth something...not sure. What is average price on these nowadays??
