Stainless Hawkeye 35 Whelen

I think I just got lucky. Picked up a new in box, unfired Stainless Hawkeye from a private seller for $525 with a box of Hornady Ammo.

Ordered dies and 100 pieces of brass last night from Graf&Sons.

Threw an old Leupold 2x7 scope on top and will try to get it sighted in this week.

Need to pick up a #3 ring for it however, the #4&5 is just a bit to high to obtain a good cheek weld.

Wow! Nice find. I could not have passed that one up either. I do love the 35 Whelen! You will have a lot of fun with it. A 2 to 7 scope is just right for the Whelen.
