I have about 6 AMT mags for the MKII that don't feed reliably. I would prefer to use them if possible because I live in Florida and I must clean my mags every time I shoot or they begin to rust.

The feed lips are shaped identically to the factory mags. Anyone found the trick on these things?

Give them all a 4-6x magnification inspection, then stone all burrs smooth, then a small rat file & stoning to ensure the lips are all the same. Then compare spring tension among them, and replace as-necessary. Polish all the followers if you want

Most critical - Send them (even a half-dozen factory carbon-steel mags) to Robar for the NP3 treatment. It's as slick and corrosion-resistant as it gets.
