looks more like someone bead blasted the grip frame, hammer and the cylinder....though that 'flat" ( matte) grey is similar to the old style ,early "Armaloy" out of texas................

It is amazing how a dark, blurry photo can deceive. When I asked for a better photo you could see it was a mess. It must have sat in water or a wet gun case as it appears to have been pitted all over and then bead blasted to cover the pitts. Again, thanks for the quick help. David
Yes, I have learned my lesson buying guns from sources who only provide poor quality, out of focus pics based on their "reputation" only... Pay good money, and the guns disappoint but do not want to rock the boat....learn and move on....
