SR9C question

SR9C owners: will installing a lighter weight recoil spring make the slide easier to "rack"? (arthritis is creeping up on me).
What's the down side of this change in terms of functionality of the gun? thanks

It might make it easier to rack the slide but remember, it's used to control the slide during the rearward movement also. Making it lighter can cause more wear on the frame from the harder hitting of the slide.
