SR9c 10 round magazine problem

I have 2 new 10 round magazines that take only 9 rounds. These are the first new mags for this gun that I have bought in several years. Is this a new "feature"? Did I screw something up when installing the finger rest base plate? The magazines are genuine Ruger and clearly labeled for 10 rounds. They look exactly like the originals. Any thoughts?

Load 9 in them. They'll loosen up in a bit.

Or, use a mag loader and jam that final round home!

Thanks, hittman. I tried two different loaders with no luck. My previous 6 mags (3-10s and 3-17s) didn't present this problem. I'll just use them as range mags for now and see what happens over time.
