sr9-10-L magazine cababilities

The california editon sr9-10-L has a 10 rnd magazine to complie with the safe gun requirement for CA. Does anyone know if a standard sr9 17rnd magazine will work in these firearms?

There is no difference in the size of the mags in regards to specs. The 10 rounders just have a tall plastic bottom to compensate for the loss of the 7 rounds. Living in TX, I am not up to speed on CA laws regarding mag capacities and their availability for aftermarket purchases.

but if you need to rebuild one of your extended mags. You might be able to find a rebuild kit on calguns.net
