I bought a new SR-9 at the gunshow last weekend. Did a trigger job and am read to try her out. I do have one question and it may relate to basrrel peening. Most pistols have 1/8 inch or more of slide travel before the barrel begins to swing down and unlock. My SR-9 has like 1/32 of travel before this happens. I mean as soon as the slide starts to move to the rear the barrel is swinging down and unlocking..... Is it like that on yours? Is it safe and did you have barrel peening?
