SP101: Hogue Monogrip Snapping

Help Support Ruger Forum:

could you have your stirrup screw too tight? If you tighten the screw too tight it will bow the nylon frame inside the grips and may contribute to their snapping. The technique of a "firm" grip and using the fore arms and elbow as the shock absorber has worked well for me with 454Casul and 45/70 Contender.

I think you may have solved my problem. I'll purchase a new one and see how it works.
