Will someone please give me a cylinder diameter in inches for a SP 101 .357,and if possible a 327 Federal cylinder also. I could also use some frame sizes
I am trying to get a custom holster for a Rossi 461(6 shot cylinder 1 7/16 diameter) and dont want to waste the mans time.He has a pattern for the SP but not the Rossi.

Thanks dk

My .357 mag SP-101's 5 Shot cylinder is about 1.35" in diameter. Your Rossi is a wee bit larger...

my brain barely does 1/2 's and 1/4's.

I am going to e-mail Ruger to get complete measurements of the entire gun HxWxL,as I cant find anything under spec's except weight, length, capacity and caliber.
Anybody have access to a complete dimensions list?

Wouldn't you want to give him the dimensions for the Rossi?

He has a SP 101 mold,no mold (aluminum Gun ?) for a Rossi.I need to do some comparing to figure out if the Rossi will fit in his SP holster before commiting to have it made.
I asked about a S&W "K" or "L" frame...no mold.
I am having a heck of a time finding a leather holster that is marketed for the 461
We have the Chisholm Trail show coming next month,I'll do some holster fitting but,I have 3 other UGB holsters and am VERY happy with them.
Mine are the Bonneville for semi-autos...http://www.ubgholsters.com/
