Sometimes It's Best To Use The Back-Up

I've been having a little problem with my Black Mamba so I shot the local Steel Challenge Match with my back-up gun, a Mark IV 22/45.

The 22/45 has the Volquartsen Accurizing Kit, Bolt, Tandemkross Victory Trigger and Carolina Crusher Compensator and C-More Railway Red Dot Sight. I only had one jam today, a vast improvement over the last few months. I shot much better, making my hits count and my speed was there too.

One major problem, the dot was not bright all day and I thought it was just a 3 minute instead of my 12 MOA on the Mamba. I finally changed the battery with 2 stages to go and what a difference it made. Total confidence in my shooting. I have a battery tester and check my battery before each match but I was in a rush yesterday and forwent this practice.

I will still use the Mamba for my match gun but it's nice to know that I have an alternative for RFPO. I have a 5.5 inch Bull Barrel to use on the frame when I want to shoot RFPI.
