At our recent estate sale Daughter was handling the clerk job in the auction truck. During one of the moves, one of the clipboards fell behind the wheelwell. She asked the auctioneer if he could reach the clipboard because she couldn't lean over the desk that far-BECAUSE HER GUN WAS POKING INTO HER RIBS and this came over the auctioneer's speaker. The more boisterous folks in the crowd settled down considerably after that. One of the family friends caught my eye and winked.
Was I embarrassed? Heck no, I was proud that I'd raised a daughter like that.
