In process of cleaning out my safe, and found this. I had wanted to mount this to my 1895, but never got around to it.
For Marlin Models 336, 1895 and 30 series lever action rifles. The Marlin version features a special adapter base which allows mounting of the sight on the tang without damaging the serial number. All steel construction, this sight features height index marks on the aperture post and an . 800 maximum elevation adjustment. Also included is a .093 x 1/2" quick-sighting aperture and .040 x 5/8" target disk. Mounting screws and instructions are included.
