This is a recently produced Big Horn Armory Model 89, chambered in 500 S&W Magnum, with an 18 inch barrel. The metal on these guns is made of extremely hard and durable 17-4PH stainless steel, which is what I believe BFR, and Freedom Arms make their cylinders out of. Matt Black Nitride Finiish on all metal surfaces. THIS IS A HUNTING RIFLE! Big Horn Armory implemented a huge price increase this last February. The current base model MSRP is $4499.00, with a non-refundable deposit requirement of $2249.50 to start your order, which currently takes three to four months to fill. This rifle does not have the fancy wood upgrade, but I think it would have qualified as such if both sides of the butt looked like the left side. Very nice wood overall! I'm selling because I have an opportunity to buy a very nice custom single action revolver. I'm asking $3700 shipped and ensured to your FFL.
