So, you want to mess with my sheep? Really?

That's why we buy dog food. Dogs work 24/7/365 and I don't have to sit in the cold and/or dark.
The shooter was pretty patient waiting for the right shot angle considering.

I do agree with jeepnik also that's the very reason we could never live on a farm our Lola is a catahulu dog she kills every that runs . She got a hold of the neighbors chicken last year . She a great dog but even great dogs have a flaw

Domesticating animals, whether they are livestock or pets puts them under our protection. I just wish all the bleed hearts in my area understood this. I trap as many as I can, but I'm restricted to my own property. I do offer education to others that want to learn, but I make darned sure I don't touch a thing. It's all done by the property owner.

I know Contender does this sort of thing for a living and knows that the laws must always be obeyed.

My experience has been feral dogs are more of a threat than coyotes. Lost several goat and sheep to packs of dogs. Lost nothing to coyotes. I am sure someone here will have a hissy fit about that but it is my experience.
