Condition - Gun was manufactured in 2000 according to the Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson and it comes in a hard blue factory Smith & Wesson box which is not original to the gun. The factory paperwork is in the box. These guns in this condition do not surface very often. This is the Classic model that has the full lug under the barrel. This gun sports a beautiful set of Smith & Wesson Rosewood finger groove target grips. It also has the original set of Hogue rubber grips that were shipped with the gun. The rear sights are adjustable and has a white outline sight blade and the front sight has a red ramp.
This gun is in pristine condition for a 18 year old gun. Gun has been stored in a climate controlled safe. The grip frame is the round butt version and is somewhat rare in that they do not surface very often, especially one this nice. It appears to have been a safe queen rather than a shooter. The stainless steel finish is in excellent condition.
I can't remember ever firing this gun so I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Lock up is very tight and bore is pristine.
