I have increased my Skeleton Stock Collection to 5 and will be picking up my 6th one later this week.
My first one --30.06 with front & rear sites
second one-- .223
third one ---- 7mm Mag with front & rear sites
4th one ----- .270
5th one------ .243
6th one being picked up Thursday-- 25.06
waiting to hear back about a 7 mm.08 to get this coming weekend. I will post some pics later.
I have picked up all of these this year except the 30.06 which I have had for several years.

Congratulations on your collection! I look forward to seeing the pictures. I like these myself and presently have four in .223, 7.62x39, .264 Winchester Magnum, and .338 Winchester Magnum calibers.

Nice collection! I have two, a .338 Win Mag and a 7mm, both with front and rear sights. Any idea about what these would be worth? The .338 has a Leopold 2.5-8 Vari-X III and the 7mm has a Weaver 3-9 (don't recall the exact model).

Really what ever someone is willing to pay. Without scopes I would say in the 450 to 500 range. I just bought the 7 mag off GB a couple weeks ago for 455.00 including shipping. I could have gotten one on there in the 365.00 range, but I wanted the front sights. I found a 300 with sights last nite, but the guy has already sold it. I am trying to see if the guy will trade me a 300 without sights for it. I am going to try to get a few better pics with my camera when I can. I took these posted with my phone.

I have three stainless KM77RSs. A .223, a .30-06 and a .338Win. The ones with sights are scarce and hard to come by.

I BELIEVE they were only made in the above calibers plus .243, 7Mag and .300Mag. Chad would know for sure. Maybe he'll join the conversation.

I would really like to find one in .270 or .280, but have had no luck. Logic says there should be some out there.

Jim I just got the 270 last weekend along with my 243. I have a 280 sitting out there from a contact I made awhile back. I am going to get it if the guy hasn't gotten rid of it. I am buying a 25-06 & just made a deal today to get a 300 with sites, that I will get next week. I saw a 280 on GB awhile back. Just keep looking. If I run across one, I will let you know. I found a 338 with sites too. I gotta figure something out on that one. I need to quit buying guns, before I end up divorced. The wife already thinks I am getting prepared for a Redneck Jihhad.

Dash, I'm only specifically interested in rifles with sights.

The rifles without sights are fairly common, but gaining in collector interest.

I too appreciate the boat paddle stocked 77's. The 25/06 has always seemed a unique one to me as it uses a magnum length and taper barrel.

Probably my two favorites would be the 338 with sights, and the limited 50th anniversary 264 mag which has a steel floorplate with the 50th logo and 1 of 1000 engraved in it.

Talk about a tank like rifle!!

The boat paddle 77/22's with sights are quite nice as well

Here's a photo of the two I mentioned in my previous post. The top one is the 7MM Remington Mag with a Weaver V9, 3-9x scope. The bottom one is the .338 Win Mag with Leupold Vari-X III, 2.5-8 x36 scope.

I am going to pick up my 300 Mag with sights tomorrow and a 25-06 both skeleton stocks. I will post pics when I can.

IIRC, Ruger went trhrough a period about 5-10 years ago when they were discounting the boat paddle stock and cutting inventories of other off the wall calibers in 77. You could get damn near anything for a time, at a nice prioce too. They were not catalogied. I remember almost plunging for the .264 Win Mag...and a .250 Savage.
