Greetings:
I'm a new member and have a question on my light-weight.
It's sn is in the 212XXX range, 5.5 inch bbl.
Has alloy grip and cylindar frame. the cylindar is steel.
Someone had the transfer bar installed.
Holster wear on barrel and cylindar, shiny spots on grip-frame.
Anybody have a rough idea of it's worth.
I know the modification distracts from it's value.
thanks

Rough value is $300 -$400. A mint unconverted example is around $600+. Yours is close to end of the SN range for the lightweights.

Welcome to the Forum!
As you note, the safety conversion detracts from the value, but so does the condition. I'd say the above quote is very close w/o actual pics & seeing how much "waer" it has.

Run up to the gunshow in Ogden today and look up Steve Ruger. You can't miss him since he's standing front of the Most Amazing array of Super Blackhawks extant.

As him to explain the procedure.

Oh, and to answer your question, yes, very easily.

Your Lightweight would have a 4-5/8" barrel as original.
And if your gun is #212534 it would have a premium on it since that is the Lightweight reported as being the last made. It is out there somewhere!!
