Actually, I think the factory black micarta grips look okay; not bad at all.

But what do you think about a set of these burl grips (from http://www.rugerforum.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=183564&p=1832318&hilit=burl#p1832318) Currently not available for birds head grip frames, but IF available ...

Think would look nice on my Vaquerito sheriffs model?

That's awesome! Who did your engraving? As much as I like color case hardening, I think an engraved single action looks better full blue. :)

Mark Hykes, Sparks, Nevada. Great work and very reasonable.

Bar S Grips and True Ivory are almost indistinguishable from real ivory. They are so far above any other faux ivory grips. When I hand someone my Ruger with real ivory and another with True ivory invariably they think both are ivory. Under $150 fitted by Bar S by just sending the grip frame. Three versions: new white, slightly aged and well aged.

Pic overload? Hope not!

Snapped this at the range today:

Still awaiting custom Mernickle PS6SA holster.

10 rds over the Chrony (Hornady 85 gr XTP, 12 gr of Li'l Gun) averaged about 1200 fps.

Forgot to take paper targets, but it did knock down the steel plates @ about 14 yds.

I'm not an agent for Mernickle Holsters, but I live about a half hour from him and know him to be a great guy and great holster maker. http://www.mernickleholsters.com/
