I just returned from the SHOTS and took these poor quality pics for those that are interested. GP100 in 327 (7 shooter) and Blackhawk in 327 (8 shooter). Great show!

Looks like a great show...

but what's up with Ruger and the typo on their display?

See where it says "Also Accepts, 327 H&R Magnum?"

Man, with something as big as the Shot Show, you'd think they'd proof their ads better. Maybe they need to hire me...

That's an interesting goof!

I agree the GP needs a 6" barrel. I'd get one, chop it back to five inches and install a Weigand interchangeable front sight.

I'd take a 4" GP100. I just like shorter barrels.

If I got a BH it would have to have a 4-5/8" barrel for me.

Couldn't a 32-20 wcf cylinder be fitted to this also? One Blackhawk capable of firing five different rounds.

maybe that will be the new round to fill the gap between the 32 h&r and the 327

The website has the same ".327 H&R" goof.

Revisionist history?

But you're right . . . it's what the H&R should have been had they been willing to build a gun to handle it at the time.

;)

Part of the issue is that not everybody who works there is a "gun person". Also, as SHOT draws near things get missed. Several years ago HK had brochures printed, and delivered at SHOT, that had a pic of a SA pistol on the cover along with a loaded magazine. The 40 S&W rounds were loaded into the magazine BACKWARDS....think about that one!!!!

The best was the cover of the Remington catalog a few years ago.
Picture of a guy shooting a M 70 Winchester!

Love it!

LOL. Man. if I were in charge of things for HK, or even Ruger, I'd be steamed about mix-ups like that. Somebody had to review things before getting the ok for the final run...

I enjoy looking through manufacturers catalogs and seeing all the mistakes, nobody quite tops S&W for glaring errors, but that Remington one is a classic!
