Excellent! I just started reloading last spring, so I remember the feeling. I can see now, my next expenses are going to be a chronograph and a gun club membership.

I remember pulling the trigger on my first reload over 20 years ago. I missed the paper I was so nervous. Actually, that was my second reload. I saved my first one as a souvenir that I still have today. My next great accomplishment reloading was taking my first big game animal with my reloads a couple years later. Key

Great for you. I shot my first .38 Spl. loads over a month ago with no hiccups either. It is a great feeling. Now I have my first .357 loads off the press and ready to go.........anticipation once again!

Before you know it you will refer to your trips to the range as the "dis-assembly phase" of reloading.

I will admit I may enjoy reloading more than shooting... I have to go to the range every twice a week just to make more stuff to reload!

You'll shoot a lot more, for the same money, and you'll become a lot better shot. Enjoy!

Ain't that the truth !!
I love to sit down and 'create' ammunition. I print out detailed labels, box it up nice. It's a rewarding hobby. :)

What's really at work is getting your loads to work well.

Once that is done and the newness of handloading fades ...... you'll start to yearn for different calibers so to continue the odessy!
