shooting PMC 240gr 44 Magnum Ammo in Deerfield

A friends wants to sell me some PMC "Bronze" 240gr TCSP (44D) 44 Magnum ammo.

Is this to hot for my 99/44 Deerfield?

I keep hearing/reading that the Ruger 44 Magnum Carbine was built around the 240 gr 44 Magnum bullet. But I'm not sure about this particular ammo.

Any thoughts / experience / knowledge of this round would be a great help.

That ammo should be ok, definitely not too hot. My Deerfield likes Winchester and Federal factory ammo but fails to eject sometimes with MagTech, which is less powerful. The PMC I have shot, but not in the Deerfield. It was good ammo, just a little dirty. TCSP means Truncated Soft Point.

I bought the PMC because it was there. 44 mag ammo is hard to find unless I buy over the internet. But I guess either way internet or store bought the prices will be inflated.
