Replaced factory stock and buffer tube with a Magpul UBR stock and buffer tube. Instructions said to install the polymer spacer included with stock. Ending up with the situation that bolt would not go far enough rearward to lock open. So removed spacer so bolt would lock back. Now having cycling issues, running gas setting at 3. Really like the UBR stock but cannot get rifle to function properly. ?

Did you change buffer or spring during the installation? I'm not familiar with the MagPul stock you mentioned but anytime you change a buffer or spring, that can cause problems or affect function.
