I recently received this cool little pouch from forum member reuben_j_cogburn and wanted to show you guys his handiwork. It is a great size, big enough but not bulky at all on the belt, and it's definitely built to last. The materials and construction are solid as can be. Nice reuben!
Here is a shot with a 100rd box of .22lr inserted for scale.
The pouch is designed to carry loose .22 rounds on your belt and has steel bands sewn into the lips of the pouch to keep it closed. You might have seen change purses that have a similar design. Just pinch the sides to open it up and get at your ammo then release the sides and the pouch closes back up securely. The pics below show the pouch both empty and with 100rds inside.
Don't know if you can see but there is plenty of room in the filled pouch for at least another 30-40rds of .22 ammo. You could also carry loose centerfire rounds, loaded speed strips or small magazines instead if you needed; very useful little piece! I'd buy another in a heartbeat but doubt I will ever have to.
Thanks again for the nice pouch reuben_j_cogburn! Much appreciated- 8)
