I shot my 150 prefix fixxed sight 2 3/4" Security Six today. First time.
It shot about 2" low at 7 yards.
Low is better than high as I can file the front sight but before I do that I am thinking I should have a spare.
Can't find any in the usual places.
Will a Fixed sight GP-100 sight work?
Thoughts?

Thoughts?

2 inches low ain't bad. At different distances, depending where the bullet is in its arc, it just might be right on.

And, depending on the load, and the resulting recoil, shooting high or low can be remedied by heavier or lighter bullets.

If I had any fixed sight gun that shot 2" low, I'd be satisfied.

My other thoughts? I'd sure like to have that gun.

WAYNO.
