Wish I could help you out but I just don't know. I don't think even Chad knows for sure, it would take people to report it here, ROCS or directly to Chad. Also, how many people have some "D" s/n guns and really don't know what they have so they aren't concerned about it? I wonder if Ruger had any records about D guns?
oh it will be in the records BUT that being said someone has to ask as to the serial number or numbers and if its a "D" ( or a "S" or "U") whatever,,in other words asked and brought to their attention...........

I've never seen a -Six DA with a "D" number. I have some "S" and "U" -Six DA's but no "D" and none are listed in Chad's Ref.
I don't think I've ever seen or heard of a D marked Six Series. We know in other models D's happened both before and after the Six Series run so. …. Wonder what happened. Not one "mistake" made during their run? Destroy a mistake? Strange indeed.
