I attended Ruger's armorer's school in 1980. Going through some papersI found the following photos of a revolver sectioned to show function.

neat pictures, I like that showing the "action" of a firearm...many years back, I started to do some "cutaways" of different Rugers, and did a few of the 22 semi autos...( always enough of them around,cheap enough to "cut up").... I never did any Single Sixes or Blackhawks....always too nice or too costly.........besides, not a lot of demand for the work, and I did it ALL 'by hand'..........

I have some pics of a Super cutaway that Steve Vogel sent me in the 80's. Interesting thing is there is a tag that says, if I remeber correctly "Exhibit S" I'll dig them out and see if I can get them scanned in, Coogs.

It's a scanned copy of Ruger's Picture of the "Old Model Conversion Kit" gun. A fine old Super cut up and converted....... :shock:
