It is a favorite for both of us here. I loved what Hub told Stan after the lion mauled Stan:

The brothers buying an airplane and going out having fun to the last was a fitting end for them. Walter said "They really lived" which was an understatement.
My best friend always thought that the two of us would be like the two old men in the movie when we got older. It was one of his favorite movies. Sadly we won't find out as he passed away from cancer a few years ago.

Yep, I have to agree, one of my all time favorite movies.. and it's even connected to one of. the greatest cartoonist and cartoons ever created Bloom County.

Great movie
Great Movie. We took in our great nephew from child protective services. He introduced us to the movies and also to the movie Holes. I think he related to the kids with no parents and everything turniong out alright.

It's a great movie and I am not a movie person.
Duval and Caine were great in that movie. They just had each other play off of and it made for wishing you could be there too. I would love to sit on that porch with a shotgun waiting for traveling salesman to show up. Makes me grin ear to ear, just thinking about it. I've probably watched it four or five times now. I'll have to remember to dig it out again, I think I actually have on DVD.
