Science Fiction movies and TV shows

Help Support Ruger Forum:

Somehow I must have missed this one first time around. I am a touch surprised. There is a science fiction thread on rugerforum & no one has mentioned "Cowboys vs. Aliens". I'm not saying it is intellectual but it is entertaining.
FWIW. I grew up watching The Twilight Zone, Outer Limits, Lost in Space & a lot of others. Never got into Dr. Who. I liked Tremors. I read The Foundation Trilogy long ago because my older sister had it but I don't really remember much about it now (I drank a lot back then). For some reason this thread made me think of Isaac Asimov's "The Feeling of Power".

I find is fascinating that the black characters on Dr Who do not act ghetto, unlike so many characters on US TV.
You are right. All my work trips to Europe especially England, France and Italy never experienced that type of behavior.

You can understand perfect English even with an accent.

My friend who has hunted Africa for 30 years said this only happens in the US. Guess being American isn't enough so they have to try and develop new tribe.

The black soldiers with the French Gendarmes were great people to talk with.
