Well I took my 45 Hunter out this afternoon. I shot 3 - 3 shot groups at 100 yards using a 4 X Leupold. My worst group was 4 1/8". My best group was 2 1/8". And the overall spread of the 9 shots was 4 5/16" total. It is a real challenge, for me at least, to use a 4 power at that distance. Makes me wonder what I could do with a 7 or 8 power. Anyway, I was very pleased. I've had rifles that didn't shoot this well. This gun seems to love H110 and XTPs. Just wanted to share.

Excellent! That's dead critter! I just got done reaming the throats on mine but haven't gotten to the range yet. I just got the 45 Colt Hunter a while back and have only shot it once at 25yds. I put a 2x28 on mine.

Here is my dead critter....

My 45 Colt SBH Hunter groups around 2" at 50 yards with the current load of a 300 gr. Saeco FP Gas Check over 22 gr. of H110. Got to love the 45 caliber! Handgun or long gun. It is my favorite.
