I got a Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5 Creed a couple of days ago. I noticed when installing the scope that the barrel is not centered in the handguard. It is off center by .2 inches. There is nothing in the handbook about adjusting the handguard, and it is definitely crooked . Anybody got any suggestions on how to deal with this?

Has anyone obtained this rifle yet in 308cal? If so what ammo have you tried and what results did you get?
I was able to purchase one and will pick it up this Saturday.

After waiting for 4 months I finally received my Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor. BIG PROBLEM. The folding stock is very loose when open. I can insert a 0.020" shim in the hinge which gives well over 1/8" of play at the butt. The Canadian Ruger distributor says this is within specs! HAH! I have complained to Ruger, waiting for a response.

All my Ruger rifles have high grade stainless barrels of non Ruger make - I just use them without benefit of Ruger warranties.

Hi,

When did Ruger start offering a warranty? One on paper, the kind that they can be held to?
