Ruger trap gun

I was out seeing the country last week in a trio to Cody for a friends wedding. On the way home I stopped in an old friends gun sho in Prescott and noticed he had a Ruger single barrel trap gun on the shelf Serial # was 44. Deffently a differnt type of gun from Ruger.

They didn't build many of them.... not sure why. Basically, it was an unsingle Red Label.

No the shop had not priced it yet. I think they only made 150 of them.

Typical stupid Ruger move at the time. These are great mechanical guns but the wood SUCKS!. Trap guys want nice wood along with great mechanics. Detachable trigger would have been better also. I have 2 and sold another a while back. Used worth at least 2500 probably I sold mine for that. Probably closer to 300 made but of course no Ruger confirmation
