Don't shoot yourself in the foot with only shipping to the lower 48. you can now legally ship hand guns in the USPO. flat rate med ships to all 50 states for the same price. Just trying to help. that's a good AK bear gun.

I try not to do that, so far so good. I do appreciate the information as I had the same thoughts about it being a good AK gun. This may be fairly new, a few months ago a friend's son moved to AK and wanted his guns sent to him. He asked me how he should go about it. I checked with my FFL and he told me shipping guns there was extremely expensive. He wasn't trying to make money as he ships guns for the shipping cost only, I've offered him extra for his time involved and he refused it. I will see if he is aware of this as he would be shipping it for me. Thanks again!

FYI: According to the Ruger serial number lookup, ^^^ this shipped in 2023 so it isn't very old.

84- prefix Super Blackhawks were 1982-84...so I'd say its "old".

Yes, it's old not sure how old bought it used before 2023. The serial number lookup is not correct for this, I tried it a while back and came up 2023.

This is a follow up to an earlier post on hand guns, now shippable via USPS. I came across this https://www.federalregister.gov/doc...-06376/revised-mailing-standards-for-firearms when I was looking for more information on this issue. It seems to indicate it's a work in progress but not yet in effect. It's quite a long read and I have only skimmed it at this time. Any feedback and or additional information would be great. Being able to ship(via FFL) a handgun at reasonable rate would be a good thing for all buyers and sellers!
