Is anyone offering a trigger job on the SR9?
I have read they are similar to Glock and the "right person" with the "right tools and skills" can get the trigger to a nice, crisp 4.5 - 5# pull (not interested in lower since this is for protection, etc)

I am used to a custom 1911 trigger pull, which I do not think this will ever be, but do believe it can be 50% better than it is now.
I hand picked the gun out of a case of SR9's and the trigger is MUCH better feeling than any others I have felt with an average pull of 6.5#, which does not sound bad until you take into account low was 6.1 and high was 7.13..., quite a spread.

So, any help would be great..., ALSO, any other mods people are doing to the gun?
Night sights would be good too:)

Thanks!!!

Only thing I know of is Ghost inc. But they have yet to actually release anything for the SR9. Just been talking about it for long time.

There is Nothing out for it yet, all you can do is buff up the contact points. There is a sticky -walk threw at the top of this fourm.

I've been teetering on the edge of selling my SR-9 mainly due to dissatisfaction with the trigger. What has kept me from doing so is the increasingly faint hope that someday Ghost might actually come out with the trigger kit they've been promising for, what, a year now?

So far Ghost is nothing but vaporware for the SR-9, which is rather ironic given their name.

I'm not sure the difference yet, but the trigger on my SR9c is much nicer than my SR9's. It feels different. Positive break, crisp reset and feels a bit lighter. It feels like the striker spring may be lighter. You can move the striker much easy by hand (slide off) than with the SR9. Not sure exactly. But it does seem different.

I read on one review (American Rifleman online maybe?) that it was updated and that the new SR9's would have that same trigger and that it was not backwards compatible. How true that is, I have no real idea. But it ain't the same.

Thanks guys (and keep 'em coming:)

When I bought the SR9, I checked out a case full of them and picked the gun with the best trigger of the bunch. It is really "not that bad" when compared to other "like" guns and much better than the others in the case, however, once you get used to a "good trigger", it is hard to take a step down.
The Ghost sounds like it would be a winner..., maybe someone else can make a similar design and make Ghost wish they would have got on the ball and actually produced one in a timely manor.

Thanks for the replies:)

I had my pistol smith do my SR9 trigger, was great, then, like a dummy, I sent it back in for the recall. Trigger was not to my liking, so he did a trigge job on it again. Now, an excellent trigger again. My favorite 9mm.
