Greeting and a question, I've owned the 32 mag with the 3&1/16" barrel before. But now I found one that the owner claims is a 4" barrell.

How rare are these in the 32mag? I have a sp 101 in 22lr and think I would like one with the same configuration in the 32mag.

Thanks,

I don't have a clue as to how rare the Ruger SP101 4" in .32 Magnum is but I have one and have shot it a good bit.

I couldn't zero mine with the issue sights (no elevation on the rear sight) so I have mine drilled and tapped and hung a Red Dot sight on it. NOW, it shoots center and shoots well with a variety of ammuntion (I cast my own bullets and reload).

It's a keeper.

The SP-101 in 32 mag was made in both barrel lengths. Production numbers aren't available but either model is a desirable one. If you like yours, then add the 4" one to the bunch! I personally have only seen the 4" model on the street.
