Ruger Security Six?????

I couldn't resist buying a 4" blued version in as new condition. Are these strong revolvers and able to handle the heaviest loads? I have a Colt Python but this one feels so light and easy to handle that I wonder if it has the same rugged durability as the GP100. It showed up in my local gunshop today and for $299.00 I thought it was unlikely to find one this clean for less so I jumped on it. I almost bought a similiar Speed Six for $350.00 a couple years ago but I gotta have adjustable sights to be completely happy. It has a warning on the barrel so I assume it is one of the last variations of this revolver.

Solid revolver, a good carry in the woods and mine's been reliable.

I was lucky enough to get one for $229 today. It's a stainless 4" and has very little wear. They'll handle anything a GP will

.. as I picked up a 4" blue on Saturday as well. Also saw a mint used 4 5/8 blue 45LC NM Blackhawk at the same store. Probably going to put a deposit on that tomorrow. This hobby is getting expensive!
