Ruger SBH "Bobbed" Trigger Guard

Is there any perceived advantage to the squared trigger guard? Other than the obvious that it looks good.

The craftsmanship looks excellent; but I do not think the gun looks "good". I realize that tastes vary, but...
I think all of us square TG owners could benefit from a photo essay or personal training from Contender. Sometimes mine bites me and sometimes it doesn't. Why?? I could not explain. I just have to keep adjusting until it doesn't. 240 gr. SWC and 8.7 unique max until I get it figured out.

John Gallagher fixed mine in 2015. It used to jab finger of my support hand.
