Ruger RXM?

Help Support Ruger Forum:

So the modular FCG of the Sig and the design of a Glock have come together under Ruger/Magpul. Well, the price is competitive, and if it shoots accurately and reliably they will be a good combination and an option to look into if that's your cup of tea. I like the slide design- but the grip module looks unwieldy. But, being a Magpul it might be more comfy than it looks.

One of the neat things about this kind of design is the possibility of different grip modules for different purposes. Small/medium/large, target, different angles/textures, all swappable in minutes. If you want to have some fun, do a google search on Sig 365 grip modules, or Sig P320 grip modules. If the market embraces this new Ruger, and starts making custom parts for it, now that would be a winner.

Pretty much like SIG and PSA....nothing new at all.
Yeah, but it's a Ruger! I have never had to use PSA's customer service. I have used Sig's. It was good but customer service from Ruger is outstanding.

I agree, not much "ground shaking" newness here. But, they must think that there is a market for them. Seems to me the market is pretty saturated.

Well that's gonna kill the Security 9.
You are correct 100%. This happens to every gun Ruger makes. That will continue to happen until they get a contract like Beretta, Glock, and Sig did. I don't see that happening though. They would have to innovate or come out with something that really sets them apart and above any other manufacturer.

I agree...it seems to be the order of the day today. Poo pooers be damned, my LGS is getting a couple in this week and I intend to check it out.

A removable FCU ?

Like a Sig P320 ?

Horrors !

Sooooo....when will we get the first reports of these "going off" by themselves ???
As soon as some moron holsters it with his booger picker on the trigger....

Well lots of companies make wheels....has one made a wheel other than round?

I will check it out also...but it seems there are too many of the same thing introduced as new......if you own a few Glocks, SIGs, and PSA's you've probably seen this before (from the looks of all the pics available). Not poo pooing it....I may just pick one up just to have one that says "Ruger" I guess.

Likely we'll never know.....sort of like asking how many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop.......thanks to Mr Owl the world will never know........
😂 .... This thread will be worth at least one bag of popcorn ............😝

While I doubt I will buy one, I expect it is probably a good gun. If I were to buy one the first thing I would do is go buy some OEM Glock magazines. I like P-mags for AR-15's. My only experience with a Magpul Glock mag is the one that came with my Dagger. Every time it has malfunctioned that magazine was in it. I use the P-mag for a range mag.
It is nice that it is optic ready & compatible with more than one optic cut/mounting system.
