I have an excess Gen 3 G19 'upper', does anyone know if you can buy the frame and fire control insert only? I just read the article in the AR. Apologies if this has been addressed in the thread, I did not read all 323 posts.

Geesh! Ruger finally joins the rest of the folks on the bandwagon and makes a glock clone. Pretty much proving that innovation had died at ruger.
