Is the Ruger Redhawk 44 Magnum 5.5 inch bbl a California CDOJ approved weapon? I have a fella from Cali looking to purchase mine but is asking if its a model KRH-445 which im unclear if it is. Mine was purchased in 1989 and my box is long gone. Any help would be most appreciated. My serial number is 500-90XXX. Please advise if you have any information...

Yes, both the Blued and Stainless 5.5" versions are approved for Ca. The website is http://certguns.doj.ca.gov I don't have a link to the Ruger specific page but it's easy enough to look up.
