Was surfing the candy stores and ran across a 22/45 LITE that I'd never seen before. Description said it was limited run and Ruger decided not to make a production run of them. The model is a Ruger p45mk3alrpfles model 03905. Search engines (Google/Bing) reference the 3905 Model with the black 4.4" adj sight version which is actually a model 3903. The 3905 is in a flat stainless/aluminum gun metal grey. Anybody know anything about this version? It's a good looking pistol and a real eye catcher. Would kinda like to add one to the gun safe!

I think this is the one you're talking about. I just picked it up last week. Early Father's Day present from my wife.

I'll hyave to add that to the list.Anyone know how many were made?Or is it in production now?

The one I saw was not like the old style barrel, it was the new fluted style blacklite, but in grey finish and listed as model 3905

There are 5 colors I know of between the first and second generation lite's. Gold, Black, Raspberry, Anodized and Black Anodized "Talo". The one pictured looks to be the gold model but tend to look more on the silver side but still have the gold cast.

Models are 3902, 3903, 3904 and two variations in the 3905

If anybody has any serial number information on the raspberry or gun metal gray versions, please send me a PM!! There are reportedly only 72 in raspberry! And I haven't heard any production quantities in the gun metal gray yet, but the raspberry at least (maybe the gray also) were reportedly the result of a blemished finish in the gold annodation of the gold model, so Ruger turned them into raspberry instead. The pic I saw of the end off the box said "BLACK ANNODIZE" on the label but it is definitely a raspberry color. The box also had two of Ruger's "Inventory..date" stickers on the end as well as a round light blue sticker that says "BLEM".
Please send info on these as soon as possible because both are sure to dry up from them marketplace. I see nowhere to go on either besides up in $!!
Reminds me of the very same thing that happened with the "S" Lightweight Single-Sixes, made "second" because of blemishes in the annodation. And those are also valuable because of their aesthetics in color, just like the High Standard Sentinel in the various rare colors those were made in.

Thanks Rick. What did you mean about two variations of the 3905?? Those all have slant groove cuts also don't they?

And do the gray anodize guns have Ruger Inventory/date stickers on the end of the box as well as the light blue "BLEM" stickers? Do they also have "BLACK ANODIZE" on the label?

Hey Rick, now I see they did a copper anodized 22/45 LITE also...caught this from the TALO facebook page...

Maybe this is the missing 3901 model number?

Chad I have not seen the copper version yet. But I have bought several lites and found there are several variations and some seem to have the same model number. Some variations also are in the same serial number range. I will compile the information and send it to you.

From what I've been able to gather, Ruger sold some lots of blem lites. Colors I've seen referenced so far are pink, silver/gray, gold, green, various versions of black and now copper. The ones I've seen on GunBroker had more than one label and model. One source indicated that they were all invoiced by Ruger as pink. One store I checked with got two that were to be pink. One was black and one was gold. They returned them to the distributer.
