Ruger no 1 300 Win Mag ammo Recomendations???

Hi all,
I recently picked up a beautiful 1S in 300 Win Mag. I am not much for reloading, but have any of you out there got a factory load that seems to work better than another??

Any feedback would be appreciated

What a coincidence. I just sold the same thing. :lol: I don't have any advice on factory loads, because I'm a handloader. I hope that you have more use for it in CA than I had in VT

I would recommend using 180 grain bullets with the 300 win mag. Im sure if you can find a box or two of Norma you wont be disappointed in it.

Depends what you are looking for the ammo for. If you are asking to get which is the most accurate that would be heavily influenced by the rifle and you would need to buy different brands and see which one shoots the best in your rifle. If you are asking which is the best hunting bullet then I would say the Winchester Supreme or Federal Premium ammo are the best and I would get the 180 or 190 grain bullets.
