Now that Vaquero does look awesome! Strong for sure and looks like a blast to fire. As my shooting tastes chance might just look at one of these. Like the blued version too but too much of a matte finish these days. Thanks for sharing.

Congratulations, gorgeous pistol right there! The Vaquero I just picked up looks like that, but in 44 mag and wood grips.

I sure like the high polish that these come with.

Nice acquisition! My mom got one of those a few years back at an auction. It came out of the Oglesby & Oglesby shop, and it is one of the smoothest single actions I've ever shot. Not suited to "Ruger-level" loads intended for the big-frame older models, but they'll handle as many top-end standard loads as you'd care to shoot.

After looking at yours, I now realize mine is the older model. It doesn’t have “NEW” on it and you hammer spur is longer. Pretty cool

Awesome revolvers! I have a brace of them for Cowboy Action shooting. They shoot as well as they look. .45 Colt is a great cartridge.
Congrats!

I have several myself. Took them out yesterday and noticed my early New Vaquaro has a low Serial #. Looked it up and was made in 2004, New Vaquaros came out in 2005. Still has really nice color case colors on it.
