Since you are in a hurry go ahead and post somewhere else. Not everybody has all day to be online. CA I belive stands for California approved pistol, which is another way of saying it come with 10 round mags only.

Thank you very much for your response but..that's all MKII pistols ever came with, 10rd mag... Hmmm

C also can stand for Crimson Trace Grips on the Ruger's who have them of course, but that is mostly just with an C as in KMK11145HCL which is another way of saying K= Stainless, MK111 = Mark 3, 45=4 1/2 inch barrel H= Hunter C= Crimson and L= lock inside of grip frame...I hope I got that all right..

For "those" who don't know, who are confused and might want to know, I found the correct and right information regarding the Ruger MK512CA pistol:

The 512 is the designation for 5-1/2" barrel and is the same for all pistols with that barrel length. The CA is Ruger designation for the distributor that ordered the pistols built to their specifications, in this case Camfour Inc.
Approximately 300 of these pistols were manufactured for Camfour Inc. in 2003.. CA.... "does not" designate California.
