Interesting. To enthusiastic collectors, this would seem to make the gun worth a bit more, maybe. I guess the question would be how many people are out there trying to get an example of a gun from *each and every* order the .gov made for Ruger target pistols? Probably less than 400, so I'd be surprised if a large price premium is possible. I believe I have been successful in obtaining every contract for the U.S Mark ones and Mark two's. I have collected these auto's for decades. My opinion value is given to what size contract was done and then of course condition. Example, a second contract U.S. mk1 maybe 300 guns were done but I believe I have the only one known in a private collection. The seal guns 60 some guns were overruns sold by the RCA those letter as a KMK512B. The actual guns shipped to the navy letter as a KMK512N. Although several hundred may have been shipped only two are known in a private collection and fortunately I have one of those in my collection. Value is only really determined what some individual is willing to pay. Look at the RCMP pistol that sold. That gun is the only known in a private collection. Some folks say it sold for more than it was worth. But, You may never see another one for sale until I'm ready to let it go.
