RUger mini 30 bullet diameter

OK, searched and could not find any info. I have new Mini 30 with the flash hider. Want to reload but have been told the bore is anything for 308-312 diameter. I can pick up some Hornady 123gr .310 pretty cheap locally. Can anyone shed some light on this? thanks!

Hi. Ruger changed their Mini 30 barrels from .308 to .310 around July of 1990. This was per phone call to Ruger.
