There is one of these coming up at auction . Any insight on how collectible these are . Has the box , paperwork , and is nice. Has been fired . Thanks !👍

I believe they made a fair amount of these, so not highly collectible unless you find someone in need of one. I bought one when they came out only because I got a great deal on it. I have other better suited Mark 2's that get used, so this one is still sitting new in the box. If/when they ever become "in demand", I'll have one for sale or as trade fodder. My inventory has it insurance valued at $500.

Gun broker shows 3 listed at $500, $550, and $900 starting prices.

Well , the one I posted about went for $450. I was debating going to the Auction and passed . I just looked at the Auction "prices realized "😊
 
There are probably more of them unfired than fired. Very few commemoratives have a great value as most everyone put them up unfired.
Good point , never thought of it that way . The other thing is they make way to many of them. Still I kind of liked those grips on the Bill Ruger
