No surprise there.
It's hardly an auction when opening bid required is $1,400.00.
And his pics posted up-side-down.

Pricing on GB has gotten out of control. As long as folks keep paying those prices it will continue.

What I find crazy is pricing on the new stuff. It's like GB is a retail store, and you still have to pay the shipping and FFL fees on top of it.

I was at an on line auction this morning. I felt the gun I wanted was a solid $700 value.
Bidding ended at $882. Add 18 pct buyers fee, $50 shipping and $35 for my FFL and you're in the $1,100.00 or more range.

And now they charge sales tax, too. So I could be buying a used gun (already been taxed) from an individual (normally a tax-exempt transaction) but I still have to pay sales tax at 7.25% (my state's rate). I'm not swearing off completely, but it makes me take all that into consideration before I place a bid on anything.
